What Metropolis is

Metropolis is a city builder game by Andrew Milich. A 3D city simulator in three.js that generates an 18,122-building region before you touch anything, then hands you zoning, power, water, transit, per-zone tax rates and a Ctrl+K command palette. The same builder's 2026 answer to his own 2025 isometric one.

Metropolis: measured

We loaded Metropolis in a real Chrome and played it by hand, and recorded what it did. Blank cells are facts we could not measure, not zeros.
