How to play Scorpion
Scorpion uses one 52-card deck. Seven columns start with seven cards each. The first three cards in each of the first four columns are face down; the rest are face up. Build downward by one rank in the same suit. Any face-up card may move with every card below it, even when that group is unordered. Empty columns require a King or a group led by a King. Exposed face-down cards turn over automatically. Deal the three reserve cards once, one each onto the first three columns, even if those columns are empty. There is no redeal. Make four complete same-suit King-to-Ace columns to win; completed runs remain on the table.
Scoring & controls
Score counts cards in consecutive same-suit sequences starting at a face-up King, up to 52 points at victory. Breaking a sequence reduces the score. Undo restores the previous position and score.
Hint selects a suggested card and highlights legal destinations; you make the move. Undo reverses one action, including automatic reveals and completed runs. Restart restores this deal. New game shuffles again. Practice finish is a prepared, fully visible endgame for learning the final steps. A random deal is not guaranteed winnable.
How does the Scorpion reserve work?
The three reserve cards can be dealt once, one to each of the first three columns. Empty columns do not block this deal. There is no redeal.
