About EveryGameMade
Our mission is simple and enormous: to catalogue every game ever made. We're starting with board games — and then we'll keep going, game by game, until the whole history of play is documented in one trustworthy place.
Phase 1: every board game
This first phase covers 298 real board games, from Senet (played in Egypt over 5,000 years ago) to the heavyweight campaigns of today. Each game gets an encyclopedia entry — what it is, why it matters, who designed it, and how it plays — plus an honest buyer's guide.
How we source facts
Our data is drawn from BoardGameGeek and Wikipedia. We verify the facts we publish, and — importantly — we leave gaps blank rather than guessing. If we don't know a game's complexity rating or recommended age, you'll see a dash (—), not an invented number. Rankings come from BoardGameGeek and are noted as current as of June 2026.
Affiliate disclosure
Some pages include links to Amazon. These are honest search links — we don't claim a price or that a game is in stock. As an Amazon Associate, EveryGameMade earns from qualifying purchases. That helps fund the cataloguing work; it never changes which games we include or how we rank them.
