The solitaire table

Spiderette

One deck. Seven columns. Four runs.

Tap a face-up card, then a destination card or column number. Keyboard: Tab to a card, Enter or Space to select, arrow keys to browse, Escape to clear.

How to play Spiderette

Spiderette uses one standard 52-card deck. Seven columns begin with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 cards; only their end cards are face up. Build downward by one rank, regardless of suit. Move several cards together only when they descend consecutively in the same suit. Any card or valid group can fill an empty column. Exposed face-down cards turn over automatically. Deal puts one card on each column while stock remains, but every column must contain a card first. The remaining 24 stock cards provide three seven-card deals and a final three-card deal to the first three columns; there is no redeal. A complete same-suit King-to-Ace run is removed automatically. Remove all four runs to win.

Scoring & controls

Start at 500 points, lose 1 per move or stock deal, and gain 100 per completed run. Undo restores the previous score. Each suit has one card of every rank, Ace through King.

Hint selects a suggested card and highlights legal destinations; you make the move. Undo reverses one action, including automatic reveals and completed runs. Restart restores this deal. New game shuffles again. Practice finish is a prepared, fully visible endgame for learning the final steps. A random deal is not guaranteed winnable.

Can I move a mixed-suit group in Spiderette?

No. A single card can build on the next higher rank of any suit, but a group must descend consecutively in one suit. Complete four King-to-Ace runs to win.
