How to play Overnight Stack
Drop each sliding block as precisely as possible onto the growing tower to keep it alive and beat your best height score.
When the game starts, a block slides back and forth above the tower. Your only job is to drop it at the right moment so it lands squarely on the block below. The more of the block that overlaps, the more of it is kept — any part that hangs over the edge is cut off.
If a dropped block barely overlaps the one below (less than a tiny threshold), the tower falls and the run ends immediately. As the tower gets taller, the sliding block speeds up, so your timing window shrinks the higher you go.
Your current height is shown as a score at the top of the screen. Your all-time best is saved automatically and displayed at the bottom, so every session you have a clear target to chase.
After a game over, click or tap anywhere to start a fresh run instantly. The tower and score reset to zero, but your best record stays saved.

How do you play Overnight Stack?

Yes — the sliding block moves faster with every layer added, capping at a maximum speed that makes precise timing increasingly difficult the higher your tower grows.

Yes, your best score is stored in your browser's local storage and shown at the bottom of the screen each run, so it persists until you clear your browser data.
What ends a run in Overnight Stack?
A run ends the moment a dropped block overlaps the previous one by only a negligible amount — effectively a complete miss — causing the game to trigger a game-over immediately.
