How to play Gravrail

Race a craft along a track, flipping between floor and ceiling to dodge hazards and reach the finish with the highest score possible.

Gravrail is a one-button gravity-flip runner. Your craft moves forward automatically, and you control only two things: which rail you're on (floor or ceiling) and your speed. Flip at the right moment to avoid obstacles and collect glowing orbs worth 10 points each, multiplied by your current flow bonus.

Flipping is instant — tap, press Space, or click to swap between the floor and ceiling rails. The tutorial walks you through this first, then introduces braking: hold your input (Shift on keyboard, hold your finger on touch) to slow down without flipping. Use braking to creep past tight hazards you can't simply flip around.

The game has four modes to explore: 12 campaign levels that unlock in sequence, six advanced challenge routes, an endless run, and a daily run. Campaign levels track local medals and personal bests saved to your browser. The daily run posts a shared score you can compare with the daily best.

On phones, play in landscape orientation — the game will remind you to rotate if you're in portrait mode. Effects are toned down by default to keep things calm; press V to toggle full visual effects, and M to mute audio.

Gravrail — FAQ

What is Gravrail?

Gravrail is a free browser-based gravity-flip runner by Liran151 where you switch your craft between a floor rail and a ceiling rail to dodge hazards, collect orbs, and reach the finish. It includes 12 campaign levels, six challenge routes, endless and daily modes, and runs entirely in your browser with no accounts or ads.

How do you play Gravrail?

Your craft moves forward on its own — press Space (or tap on mobile) to flip between the floor and ceiling, and hold Shift (or hold your finger) to brake without flipping. Collect orbs and survive each level's hazards to post your best score, which the game saves locally in your browser.

Does Gravrail require an account or internet connection to save progress?

No. All medals, personal bests, and unlocked levels are saved locally in your browser using localStorage. There are no accounts, no ads, and no data collection.

What modes are available in Gravrail?

There are four modes: a 12-level campaign that unlocks progressively, six advanced challenge routes, an endless run, and a daily run with its own best score tracked separately.

Can I play Gravrail on a phone?

Yes — touch controls are built in (tap to flip, hold to brake), and the game recommends landscape orientation for the best experience. The developer notes that physical mobile testing is still ongoing, so some rough edges may exist on certain devices.
