How to play 18時16分の小包 — The 18:16 Parcel (Japanese)

Read five documents about a missed 18:16 ferry shipment, gather evidence, and correctly answer three deduction questions to resolve what stayed ashore, where it went, and which account contradicts the records.

When the game loads, you have access to five records related to a temperature-sensitive parcel that missed the 18:16 ferry. Click any record card to open and read it in full. All text is in Japanese.

As you read, you can pin items of interest to a board and draw connections between pieces of evidence — either linking them as related or marking them as contradicting each other. These optional tools help you organise your deductions before committing to answers.

Once you have studied the records, navigate to the three answer questions. Choose your answer for each one using the on-screen options, then press the submit button. The game then reveals explanations for all three questions.

Progress is held only in memory for as long as the game page stays open. Closing or reloading the page resets everything. There is a manual save button and a restore button if you want to preserve your pinned evidence and answer selections mid-session without closing the tab.
